That's why He sent His son Jesus to suffer and die on the cross so you could go free. Romans 5:28 says that "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." That's how much God loves you. We broke God's law, but Jesus paid our sin debt. Yet, it is still your choice to accept the gift of forgiveness, and there is only one way. REPENT of your sin (acknowledge it and turn the other way). Luke 13:3 says, "except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish." BELIEVE that Jesus died for your sins to fulfill God's law and make a way for you to be justified. (Just as if I'd - - never sinned) ASK for His forgiveness, and believe that He gives it. I John 1:9 says, "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." BELIEVE that after he died and was buried, He rose from the grave and defeated death. Romans 10:9 assures you that "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
